Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for a Trainee Surveyor position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Completion of Year 12 and eligibility for acceptance into a Bachelor of Spatial Science course at a recognised university.
  • Manual Driver’s Licence: A valid manual driver’s licence is required to travel to various work sites.
  • Work Environment: Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and complete office-based tasks as required.
  • Live within the Bundaberg region.

What Does a Trainee Surveyor Do?

As a Trainee Surveyor, you will:

  • Assist experienced surveyors with field measurements and data collection.
  • Use surveying equipment and technology to map land features.
  • Analyse and interpret spatial data for various projects.
  • Work both outdoors on-site and indoors processing data and reports.
