The Fraser Coast region is experiencing an unprecedented surge in development, with 2024 marking a record-breaking year for its growth. Fraser Coast Regional Council (FCRC) recently published development statistics detailing the ongoing economic and construction development boom in the region, with Council receiving 4,453 building lodgements, processing 1,000 development approvals and sealing a record 1,130 new titled lots. This remarkable growth is a testament to the region’s untapped potential.

Of the development applications lodged with Council, approximately 18% of new applications (MCU/RAL/OPW) were lodged by InsiteSJC, with our approvals from previous years contributing to the economic and construction boom through cadastral and construction surveys and the record setting plan sealing numbers for 2024. Applications lodged by InsiteSJC to FCRC have increased by an average of 24% YoY since reestablishing in Hervey Bay.

As we move into 2025, the Fraser Coast is poised for continued growth and development. InsiteSJC is excited for what 2025 might present on the Fraser Coast and in our other regional centres, ensuring we remain steadfast in our commitment to achieving sustainable development outcomes for our regional centres.
